About Me

Two cute but sometimes bad-mannered cats can make for interesting days when added to an apartment with one dog and a pre-existing cat...

Lilly  (aka LillyCat or The Fluffy One)

If I absolutely had to choose a favorite, then it would be Lilly =)  At 6 lbs. she's still a small cat, but no longer the runt rat-lookalike of the litter.  As a medium-haired tortoiseshell, she spends her days sitting around looking cute... and her evenings following me around like a puppy!  Her fluffy tail can often be found sticking up in front of my monitor or waving next to my head as she perches on my computer chair.

The cutest lil cat ever!

Ellen   (aka EllenCat or Squirrely)

Ellen is from the same litter as Lilly, but she weighs in at a heftier 10(!) lbs.  She is also a bit more militant in her approach to being a cat... Ellen is the one who will bat her paws out as a means of insisting on pets.  She also has a habit of sitting back on her haunches and pulling your hands in closer with her paws while she rubs her face all over them. Thus was born her second nickname, Squirrely.

Jasper

Jaspertooni himself =)

And last but not least, we come to Jasper.  A Timneh African Grey parrot, Jasper was hatched in May of 1997.  He's never been blood DNA tested, but he's still yet to lay an egg =)  For a small guy, some days he can sure talk a lot! I'm proud to say that I had a large role in raising Jasper to be a good bird. Alas, Jasper no longer lives with me. It was a hard decision, but in the end I chose not to retain custody.
